| xSECS driver |
|
|
| xSECS is an instrument for building data collection systems. xSECS is meant for interaction with equipment, supporting SECS-I (SEMI E4-0699) and HSMS (SEMI E37-0298) communication interface suitable for the exchange of messages. Driver is fully compatible with SECS-II (SEMI E5-1000) standard and also supports SML notation, which significantly improves interaction scenario development. This driver upholds the equipment connected with work stations and terminal servers via serial lines or high speed network connections. xSECS was tested with the help of devices produced by Moxa Technologies, Digi, ICP DAS and 3Com. The developed program is exploited in a modern semiconductor production and it is a part of engineering information collection, procedure management and traceability system. Distinctive features:
* supporting both types of exchanging communication interface and unlimited quantity of equipment of different types
* fast and simple installation; shell-classes presence, which enables rapid driver introduction
* SML compliance, optimized transferring great amounts of data between the driver and client applications
* adjustable logging
* extensive documentation and source codes which appreciably facilitate particular client application development |
