| Normally, streaming video and audio contents can not be saved and you have to be online everytime you want to view or to listen. Even if you could be online all day without costing a cent, you still could not view/listen to something you want because the life-cycle of those contents is very short. They come and go in just several days because the publishers' purpose is advertisement. But if your purpose is archiving, you go with me. Normal downloaders like Internet Explorer, Netscape, GetRight, GoZilla, etc. can not download streaming contents but in fact, we could save streaming contents with the help of great softwares like Net Transport. But such programs need a specific link to the streaming file to download but such links could not be easily got. They publishers try to hide those links in many ways. Streaming Download Guide includes Music Video Link Parser to get Video Clip links from famous sites for you to download. Streaming Download Guide includes tools to post-process downloaded contents and most of all, it has a COMPLETE GUIDE which tells you how to get all kind of streaming links so you could have a great audio & video collection like mine. Of course I have a big CD and Single collection too and I will continue to grow it but I hate switching discs and I think you guys are like me, wanna keep a robust library in the computer. Net Transport is awesome. Very complete and quite easy to use (for me at least). I had this program when I lived in NC and I used it constantly there. I had an extensive file collection and used N.T. for much of my file archiving. 5 out of 5 in my books. I don▓t work for consumer reports, but I definitely recommend this program for everyone. Once you learn the ways, it's hard to find yourself not using this application continuously.
